This is confirmed by Wall Street Journal on July 26, a survey conducted by a sociologist from the Democratic Party John Anzalon and a sociologist from the Republican Party Tony Fabrizio, European truth reports.
According to the survey, the popularity of democrats is at the lowest level in three decades WSJ:
- 63% of voters have an unfavorable opinion about the party;
- 33% of voters are positive in relation to the Democrats;
- Only the unfortunate 8% have a “very positive” opinion.
It should be noted that although voters still have significant concern about how the president and the Republican Party solve the problems of the economy, inflation, tariffs and foreign policy, most respondents say they trust the Republicans in resolving these issues in Congress.
Both the current President Donald Trump, and the Republican Party as a whole also do not like more Americans than they love, but much less than democrats:
- Trump has -7 unfavorable attitudes;
- Republican party -11 points.
The brand -democrats are so bad that they do not trust the criticism of Trump or the Republican Party, ”says Anzalone. – Until they rebelled real voters and workers regarding who they act and what will have in their economic message, they will have problems.
At the same time, despite the widespread irritation from the Democrats, more and more voters say that if the elections were held today, they will support the democrat in Congress, and not the Republican – 46% versus 43%. Nevertheless, this is even less than in 2017 – for six months of the first term of Trump – when the Democrats had an advantage of 8 points in this category.
The study interviewed 1.5 thousand registered voters for the period from 16 to July 20 of stationary and mobile phones. The error is 2.5 percentage points.
