Due to the beginning of a full -scale war in Russia, the 684 Warriors were awarded the title of Ukraine’s hero. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Facebook on Saturday, July 26th.
“Due to the beginning of the full -scale invasion of Russia, 684 of our warrior from various security parts and defense forces were awarded the title of Ukraine’s hero, of which 428 was posthumously,” he wrote.
Zelensky noted that the Ukrainians would always remember and respect everyone who fought for Ukraine, its freedom and normal life.
Earlier on Saturday it was known that Zelensky had posted the Ukraine hero’s title to Colonel Maxim Kazban. The Commander of the Brigade was mentioned for the bravery and heroism during the country’s protection.
Remember, on July 22, Maxim Kazban died in an accident in the Donetsk region.
