The Thai Ministry of Defense was reflected in the military invasion of Cambodia.

Today, on Saturday, July 26, the Thai naval fleet exercised control in response to a breakthrough of Cambodia units into the territory of the eastern province of trout. The Cambodian army fell into three points of the border region. This was reported by Bloomberg.

Ubangkok said that at least 19 people died in three days of hostilities, six of them were soldiers. More than 60 people were injured. At the same time, the Cambodia authorities declared 13 dead.

Thai military noted that the clashes of the two armies were accompanied by the use of military aviation, artillery and missile systems. And for the first time since 2011, the situation on the border of Cambodia and Thailand has approached a full -fledged war.

The region announced a state of emergency, the authorities evacuated more than 100,000 civilians.

Recall that the conflict of Thailand and Cambodia has deep historical roots since the beginning of the twentieth century. In particular, the exacerbation arose through the region of the temple of Wihiya. This object is an ancient territorial dispute that remains a delicate problem for both states.
