President Vladimir Zelensky posthumously appointed the commander of the United Assault Brigade by the National Police of Ukraine “Fry” to Maxim Kazban the title of Ukraine’s hero. The military was mentioned for bravery and heroism during the country’s protection. This is proven by the corresponding order of the head of the state on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
“For the personal bravery and heroism shown in the protection of state sovereignty and the integrity of Ukrainian territory, there is no careful service to the people of Ukrainian,” the document said.
Police Maxim Kazban was awarded Ukraine’s hero title with the Golden Star order certificate. The President signed the corresponding order on July 25.
Police Maxim Kazban from the early days of the war opposed Russian invasion. The service has been held since 2014, when he participated in Donbass’s hate against pro -ru -crussian militants.
After a full -scale invasion of Russia, Kazban conducted battle missions as part of Ukraine’s defense forces, in particular, participating in resonant operations to destroy enemy helicopters in Chernobaevka near Kherson.
In September 2024, Kazban led the Assault Brigade of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, before serving as the first deputy commander.
After the creation of the brigade, the officer who was the composition was voluntary.
