The United States turned to all states, including China, with an appeal to stop providing double goods to Russia.
At a meeting of the UN Security Council dedicated to Ukraine, the US permanent representative in the UN Dorothy Shi turned to China with an appeal to stop feeding Russia’s invasion against Ukraine. In response, Chinese representatives accused Washington trying to move responsibility. It was reported on July 26 by Reuters.
It is noted that the American representative called on all countries, including China, to stop providing double goods to Russia. Washington insists that such supplies contribute to the strengthening of the Russian military-industrial complex, allowing him to continue the blows in Ukraine.
He noted that against the back of China’s statements regarding strict control over the export of dual users, this policy loses its meaning due to the regular discovery of Chinese components in Russian and drone weapons.
However, in response, Deputy Permanent Representative of China in UN Gen Shuan has rejected these allegations, claiming that China had not begun a war and not a participant in the conflict. He added that Beijing did not provide deadly weapons and controls the export of dual goods, including drones.
Gene Shuan also encouraged the United States to stop shifting responsibility for the war with other countries and called on Washington to play a more constructive role in the promotion of stopping military operations.
At the same time, Ukraine’s intelligence reported the use of the latest Chinese technologies on the battlefield. Beijing opposes “basic political accusations and manipulation” related to his cooperation with Moscow.
