Ukraine and Russia as a full -time need to arrange a meeting between the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan in an interview for the Turkish NTV television channel on Friday, July 25.
Fidan emphasized that the Russian war against Ukraine has brought significant consequences for both the region and worldwide. He noted that in addition to the humanitarian disaster and destruction of the whole city, there was a risk of global worsening, which could lead to a broader conflict and exacerbation of international disagreements. According to the minister, almost all are used in this confrontation except for nuclear weapons.
The meeting of representatives of Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul this week is concentrated in terms of a possible meeting between Zelensky and Putin. Fidan noted that, in principle, the parties came to an agreement on the handling of the leaders of the Turkish leaders.
“In principle, an agreement has been reached by the conduct of the leaders of Turkey leaders. A significant amount of work should be early in the negotiation delegates,” Fidan noted.
