Most of those currently employed are in the western region of the country. In the eastern region, only a third of the population is employed.
In Ukraine, more and more people are starting to return to their jobs. So far, among those employed before the war, 58% continue to work (in March there were 46% of such people). This is confirmed by the data of the Sociological Rating group.
“Overall, 29% worked as usual, 26% – partially or remotely, 3% – started working in a new job. 41% lost their jobs during the war (in March it was 53%),” it said. of sociologists the statistics.
It was noted that most of those currently employed are in the western regions of Ukraine. In the eastern regions, only one-third of the inhabitants are employed, and the remaining two-thirds have lost their jobs.

A third of Ukrainians who leave their homes plan to return in the near future, a quarter decided to wait a bit. Approximately 40% of respondents would return to their former residence only after the war.
In the course of the study, 1,200 respondents over the age of 18 were interviewed using the CATI method (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews – telephone interviews using a computer) in all areas, except the temporarily occupied territories. The sample was representative in terms of age, gender, and type of residence. The error of representation of the study with a probability of confidence of 0.95: no more than 2.8%.
Earlier it was reported that the majority of Ukrainians believe that in 5 years it is possible to rebuild the country. The majority of respondents (90%) believe that Russia should pay for Ukraine’s economic and infrastructure losses.
