In the Zaporozhya region, the first special antitron tunnel was built.
This road, which should protect civilian and military transport from enemy auctions of the FPV, appeared on the Orihiv highway, the length of which is 6.5 km. In total, it is planned to build more than 200 km of such “tunnels”. This was indicated at a briefing by the head of the regional military administration of Zaporizhzh Ivan Fedorov, ZPRZ.CITY reports.
This is only the beginning. We have an ambitious plan – more than 200 km of protected roads in the region. In the coming days, I plan a meeting with the Minister of Protection to synchronize actions and accelerate the implementation of this project, ”he said.
According to Fedorov, such tunnels are erected at the expense of a joint defense fund, which buys everything that is necessary for work – metal structures, networks, supplies, etc. Military, including fighters of one of the Zaporozhye brigades.
It is noted that the antitron tunnel allows you to safely move personnel, equipment and evacuate the wounded. And for civilians, this is a decrease in risks while moving in the frontal territories, as stated in the publication.
We recall that in December last year in Zaporozhye, the first underground school began to work in the region. It is located at a depth of 7 meters, has a monolithic reinforced concrete coating and is able to withstand missile impacts. Up to 1 thousand students will be able to study at a school in two replaceable shifts.
