Ukraine and France law enforcement officials, with the help of Europol, have stopped the manager of one of the most influential platforms for Cybercriminals in Kiev in Kyiv. This was reported by Europol.
It was noted that the detainee was the supervisor of XSS.IS, the Russian forum -Speaking for Cybercriminals, of which more than 50 thousand users were registered.
The forum served as a major market for stolen data, hacking and illegal service tools. Also, some of the most active and dangerous cybercrime networks in the world have launched activities – they lead advertising and recruiting activities.
The suspect was detained at Kyiv on July 22 as part of a special operation to eliminate criminal cyberurinfrastructure. It is known that the forum administrator has gained due to his activities of at least seven million euros.
The suspect reported for more than 20 years as a trusted third party – resolved misunderstandings, guaranteed security of transactions and controlled private messages through thesecure.biz.
The investigation of his activities began in 2021, and in September 2024 the operation of special operations in Ukraine began. French law enforcement officials have been deployed to the farm, with Europol support, they create a virtual command post.
