Verkhovna Rada has limited NABU’s freedom and sap

Ukraine’s Anti -Corruption Infrastructure, created since 2015, will be destroyed, warned to NABU and SAP.

Verkhovna Rada voted for the second reading for Bill No. 12414, limiting the independence of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the expert Anti -Corruption overseer overseer and is relying on the decisions of the general prosecutor. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram on Tuesday, July 22.

For the corresponding bill with amendments, 263 human representatives voted.

Zheleznyak said some representatives before the voting tried to block Rostrum, because it was the only “the only option, as it was possible to theoretical to stop” adopting the bill.

Later, he said he registered the blocking of the play under this bill 12414.

“According to the regulations, today’s speaker has no right to sign these changes. But I’m sure they will try not to sign them for two days, but now. Their plan is to do everything until it flew from international partners,” Zheleznyak said.

According to the received bill, the prosecutor’s general may:

• Return the SAP’s prosecutors to other prosecutors.

• get access to the materials of any business and keep them in other prosecutors;

• Give the written instructions to the NABU binding;

• NABU’s retirees of criminal proceedings to other pre -trial investigation authorities;

• Personally sign a suspicion of high -ranking people.

Nabu and SAP believe that Bill No. 12414, approved by Rada, will actually destroy their freedom and subordinate to the general prosecutor.

“Ukraine’s anti -corruption infrastructure, built in 2015, will be destroyed,” SAP and SAP warned Nabu.

Remember, on July 21, it was learned that NABU’s detectives were conducting searches. The SBU and the General Prosecutor’s office conducted a special operation to neutralize Russia’s influence on NABU.

SBU later reported that Ruslan Magamedrasulov was confined, one of the leaders of the Interregional Nabu detectives. He was suspected of an article about the complexity of the aggression state.

And Nabu announced 70 searches for their employees. The Bureau acknowledged that the risk of having agents of influence of the Russian Federation remains relevant for any authority, but “this cannot be the basis for stopping the work of the entire institution.”
