As a result of the attacks, 73 people were killed and 51 were injured. These include the staff and patients of hospitals.

During the war in Ukraine, more than 100 attacks on medical facilities were recorded. This is stated in the report of the World Health Organization.

“So far, these attacks have killed 73 people and injured 51. Of the current 103 attacks, 89 have affected medical facilities and 13 transportation, including ambulances,” the WHO said. .

The leader of the organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, once again called on the Russian Federation to stop the war.

“We are outraged that attacks on health care continue. Attacks on medical facilities are a violation of international humanitarian law. Peace is the only way forward,” he stressed.

It was previously reported that Russian troops destroyed or damaged all hospitals in the Lugansk region.
