Washington’s special representative at NATO Matthew Vitaker has assured ongoing steps on the issue of rapid supply of weapons in Ukraine.
The United States of America is taking steps to quickly provide weapons to Ukraine as part of US president Donald Trump. The latter provides for the purchase of weapons in Europe and the possibility of selling patriot air defense systems from its own reserves. This was announced by Washington’s special representative to NATO Matthew Viater, Report The Guardian.
However, he cannot name the exact date of completion of this process.
The official also said that a constant conversation is being conducted about whether the United States will sell the Patriot System that is already available to their arsenal.
“We will not put the United States in a strategic position and ensure that there is all that is needed. At the same time, I think we all acknowledge the chronic needs that Ukraine now needs the battlefield and protect its cities,” Viater explained his thinking.
Remember, the Defense Express published that Ukraine could transfer 17 patriots, which US president Donald Trump has promised. Most likely, we are talking about 17 Patriot Launchers, intended for Switzerland.
