Prime Minister Denis Schmigal said that the European Commission agreed to provide Ukraine with the so-called roaming visa calling for Rome’s EU policy, at home.
He noted that this will happen from January 1, 2026.
In addition, according to Prime Minister of Ukraine, the government approved the decision of the EU Association Committee on the mutual opening of the roaming sector.
This is part of the process of completing the “Roaming Visa Refusal”, added.
In practice, this will mean that Ukrainians in the EU countries and EU citizens in Ukraine will be able to use mobile communications at the tariffs of their home operators – without additional payments.
