The center of corruption Vitarius Shabunin received a suspicion of DBR.
Bureau employees reported suspicion to one of the civilian activists, who, according to the investigation, systematically evaded military service and without legal grounds used a vehicle intended for the needs of the Armed Forces. This procedural action is in no way connected with its professional activity. This was announced on July 11 by the State Bureau of Investigations.
The investigation claims that, having mobilized in 2022, a person involved in a long time did not submit a service place, and under the guise of “business trips” was in civilian institutions that do not belong to the Ukrainian army. He received a salary of more than 50 thousand atchud on a monthly base, but in fact he was not in a military unit.
In addition, according to DBR, a person participated illegally used an SUV, imported into Ukraine as humanitarian aid for the needs of the army. For personal purposes, he used a jeep without proper design and in the absence of legal grounds.
The soldier was informed of suspicion in the framework of the 4th part of art. 409 (evasion of military service in martial law) and part 2 of art. 190 (the seizure of foreign property through fraud is committed in large quantities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
DBR did not name the name of a person, but the batches, the public and the ukranform wrote that we are talking about the head of the Center for Combating Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin.
