In Poland, certain categories of Ukrainians may qualify for financial assistance

Refugees from Ukraine who arrived in Poland after February 9 or 24 this year can apply for material assistance from the Polish Humanitarian Action Fund. This was reported by VisitUkraine.today.

Within the framework of this humanitarian program, it is possible to receive PLN 710 (today approximately UAH 5,500) for three months. For each family member who comes to Poland, the amount of the allowance will be PLN 610.

It is noted that payment can be received in several cities in Poland: Bartoszyce, Koszalin, Olsztyn, Przemysl and Stargard.

Can get help

• unmarried women;

• women in the country without a man/partner;

• if you or someone in your family has a disability;

• you cannot work due to health problems;

• old people – the elderly;

• people supporting families with children;

• pregnant and lactating women;

• family members with chronic illnesses;

• students;

• unaccompanied minors.

However, payment will be made to the most vulnerable categories, whose status will be confirmed separately.
