The Russians on Thursday, July 28, fired mortars at two communities near the border in the Sumy region. This was announced by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmitry Zhivitsky on his Telegram channel.
“Almost 6 o’clock in the morning, the Russians shelled the community of Khotyn from a mortar. 5 arrived. At 8:30 there was a mortar shelling of the community of Krasnopol. 15 arrived,” he said.
According to him, in all cases no one was killed or damaged as a result of the lawsuit.
The head of the regional military administration added that after midnight, the Russian invaders fired mortars into one of the villages of the Esman community – 6 arrivals. No one was killed as a result of the shooting.
Zhyvitsky also noted that from 10:00 to 13:00 on July 28, explosion experts from the State Emergency Service will work in the Sumy region.
Remember, the Russian invaders fired on three communities in the Sumy region. As a result, a 65-year-old woman was injured. Overall, 44 “arrivals” were recorded.
Earlier, Dmitry Zhivitsky said that on the day of July 27, Russian troops fired 14 times on the territory of the Sumy region.
