At the Tisa Part -Bank point in the COP detachment, a criminal was detained, who tried to illegally leave Ukraine to Hungary.
As it turned out, this was his thirteenth attempt to cross the border written in the Western regional department of the public service of the border guard of Ukraine.
The border outfit, who examined the trucks, noticed the unknown that he was heading for Hungary. The latter had no documents. Subsequently, law enforcement officers found that the detainee was a 19-year-old resident of LVIV.
The young man said that from his difficult financial situation, he decided to look for the best living conditions in the EU countries. Since he did not have legal grounds for traveling outside Ukraine during martial law, he decided to cross the border independently.
He got to Lviv with a train on foot, reached a checkpoint, climbed the fence and hoped to be unnoticed by the border. This attempt, like the twelve of the past, was also unsuccessful. During the inspection measures, border guards discovered that since November 2024, a resident of Lione “stormed” the borders with Moldova, Slovakia and Hungary.
The criminal was detained administrative. This will be presented administrative responsibility in the framework of the second part of art. 204–1 Code of Administrative Crimes “Illegal intersection or an attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine.”
