Rubio said he canceled Khayat Tahrir Al-Sham’s status as a foreign terrorist organization.

The United States does not include the list of terrorist organizations power in Syria of the Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham organization, formerly known under the names of the front of Angra. The decision, adopted by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on June 23, will be officially published on Tuesday, July 8, but its text is already available on the Federal Register’s website.

“After consulting the general general and financial minister, I canceled the status of the Angra Nusra Front, also known as Hayat Tahrir Ashham (and under other pseudonyms) as a foreign terrorist organization,” the document said.

The current president of the transition period, the actual leader of Syria Ahmed Al-Sharaa (also known as Mohammad al-Julani) is head of radical formation of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which is prohibited earlier in many countries, including the United States and the European Union. During the Civil War in Syria, Ash Sharaa participated in adventures against the regime of former President Bashar al-Assad and the Russian troops who supported him.

As you know, in May, Trump and Syria president Ahmed Al-Sharaa met in Riyadh, which led to a serious political change. The US president then announced that he would eliminate America against Syria, which motivated Washington to significantly soften his steps.

It is also recently learned that Great Britain has continued diplomatic relations with Syria.
