From September 1 to December 1, 2025, the Dutch F-35 fighter fighters will patrol the airspace over Poland and other Eastern NATO countries as part of the Alliance Aviation Mission, writes Defensie.nl.
The mission corresponds to the rapid notification of the reaction -the character to the round -all instantly respond to a violation of the aircraft.
The F-35 will work in cooperation with the Norwegian contingent and under the leadership of NATO Generals in Europe (form).
The main goal is to ensure the safety of the supply of military assistance to Ukraine, which is transmitted by states by member of the alliance. F-35 covers routes that are directed to equipment and equipment to the Ukrainian border.
The Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Brekelmans said:
It is extremely important that we contribute to the defense of NATO and the security of Europe, we are doing this again using our most modern capabilities. Expanding these Dutch F-35 to monitor the airspace over Eastern Europe, we protect military equipment intended for Ukraine. We can also quickly respond to NATO aircraft. Thus, we literally retain the threat of Muscovite at a distance.
