Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, is preparing the replacement of the ambassador to the United States.
This was reported by RBC-UkRaine with reference to an informed source.
Zelensky discussed that the ambassador should be replaced and that he offers to replace so that our new one was clear to America, a source of newspaper notes.
According to the interlocutor of the publication, the current ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarov in this position may change:
- Prime Minister Denis Schmigal;
- Viceremier-Minister Olga Stefanyshyn;
- The Minister of Defense We Raise Miners;
- Energy Minister German Galushchenko.
The president chose these people because these are people who have already communicated with Americans and other strong partners and gave results, and the level corresponds to the level of relations with America, ”the source said.
Earlier today, the American agency Bloomberg, referring to an informed source, said that Zelenski discussed the replacement of the current ambassador during a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump on July 4.
The agency provides a similar list of potential candidates for this position – Schmigal, Stefanishin, Umarov and Galushchenko.
