The head of Social Democrats considers the end of the AFD’s ultra-right-right party from parliament of historical mission. However, the Chancellor believes this will only strengthen this party.
The German-democratic party of Germany (SDPG) united adopting a proposal to prepare the procedure for ban the successor to Germany (AFD). However, Chancellor Friedrich Mertz and his CDU/CSS bloc oppose this step. On Sunday, June 29 the publication Zeit was reported.
The SDPG plans that the working group at first the level of federal lands will collect the necessary materials. Thereafter, if there is sufficient evidence of the anti -constitutional nature of the AFD, the case is referred to in the Federal Constitutional Court.
The SDPG resolution states that the party’s prohibition cannot replace the political debate regarding its ideology “, therefore the working group must develop a concept of opposition to AFD policy.
The head of the SDPG LARS Klinkbail said it was “their historical work to re -bring the AFD from Parliament.”
“We have a constitution that provides the necessary tools. They should be used,” Klinkbail said.
Meanwhile, the conservative block of Christian Democratic and Christian Social Unions (HDS/CSS), including German Chancellor Friedrich Merets, does not support this initiative, because, in their opinion, the ban on AFD can vibrate it opposite.

Note that in early May, the German Federal Office for the protection of the Constitution after many months of review has classified the entire alternative to Germany as a lawless system. Later, the German government announced consultations about the possibility of the party’s ban.
