A magnitude 7.0 earthquake shook the island of Luzon in the Philippines. On Wednesday, July 27, TASS reports in connection with the data of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the country.

Tremors of varying intensity were felt in several areas of the province, as well as in Manila, resulting in the suspension of metro train services for a short time.
Experts do not rule out the possibility of repeated earthquakes. Right now, two more weak aftershocks of magnitude 2.1 were recorded in the neighboring municipality of Dunglas.
According to local media, in the province of Benguet, located 200 km from the epicenter of the earthquake, a builder died, where fragments of a building collapsed due to the impact of the elements.
