WACS was chosen by the Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernishov Preventive measure.
The court partially submitted a petition for the detective of the Bureau for Combating Corruption and applied to the highest official about the degree of detention in the form of a promise of more than 120 million US dollars. Themida ordered Chernishov to come to the request, not to leave Ukraine, to refrain from communicating with suspects and witnesses, as well as report on the change of work and place of residence. On June 27, the Public reported on June 27.
In addition, other duties were placed on the deputy prime minister:
- Do not leave the settlement in which he is without the permission of the investigator, prosecutor or court;
- deposit your passport (passport) for traveling abroad;
- Wear electronic control.
The suspect is obliged to fulfill a certain promise within five days. The prosecutor may apply for a more stringent precaution if he does not fulfill the obligation and does not violate the conditions of a preventive measure.
We will recall that on June 23, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernishov received suspicion of abuse of the office and receiving a bribe in a particularly large amount. Suspicion concerns the case of corruption in the Ministry of Communities and Territories, which Chernishov headed during 2020-2022.
NABU and SAP asked the anti -corruption court to apply a preventive measure against Chernishov in the form of a pledge of 120 million US dollars, and sought to eliminate the minister.
