Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, signed Decree No. 422/2025 on the entry into force of the NSDC decision of June 27, 2025 “On synchronization of the pressure of the sanction of Ukraine, the European Union and other participants in seven groups on the Russian Federation and related competitions.”
The text of the relevant resolution is published on the president’s website, he will enter into force on the day of his publication.
The NSDC decision indicated that in order to achieve the most stringent consequences for the Russian Federation for the war, separated by the war against Ukraine:
- The Cabinet of Ministers and SBU, together with the National Bank, is appointed to ensure the full implementation of the restrictive measures of Ukraine (sanctions) approved by international partners in the jurisdiction of the complete implementation;
- Sanctions approved by partner states should be synchronized in the jurisdiction of Ukraine by submitting and approving the NSDC no later than the 15th day after the corresponding decision of the state’s state or state unification;
- The Cabinet of Ministers, SBU, SBR, along with the Office of the Prosecutor General, was instructed to ensure synchronization with the EU, the USA and other states of restrictive measures (sanctions) used by Ukraine in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
