Ukrainians will no longer receive spam calls.
This was declared by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov in his telegram on June 27.
Minorifra provided operators to the fight against spam calls and obsessive advertising. Subsequently, operators will block spam, advertising and potentially fraudulent calls. These changes will be gradually introduced to give time to operators for technical refinements, ”he said.
According to innovation:
- The business must conclude an agreement with the operator and register the numbers from which he can call. If not, calls from these numbers can be blocked automatically;
- Soon the operator will be able to block the number at the request of the user in case of spam.
Other important rules also change:
- In the user’s personal office, it will be possible not only to view all his expenses, but also to turn off the content -service independently without asking the operator;
- The Internet speed should be set out in the agreement. If the operator promises 100 Mbps, and the user receives 40 – this is already a violation of the contract. And if the real speed is lower, this is the reason to file a complaint with NCEC or go to court;
- Support for Ukrainians in the zones of military operations will not lose their communication due to non-payment of services, and their SIM cards will not block non-payments. In addition, during the first record, a free communication package is provided.
