Strong political cooperation is required so that every Russian criminal, especially Vladimir Putin, appears in court. This was on Wednesday, June 25, President Vladimir Zelensky said during his appeal to representatives of Pace members’ parliaments.
“Today’s Tribunal Creation Agreement is just the beginning. Now we must take real steps to work. A strong political cooperation is required to ensure that every Russian military criminal arises before the trial, with Putin,” Zelensky said, emphasizing the importance of “true beliefs and true sentences.”
He called on the conference participants to remain involved and leader. In addition, the President noted the importance of military support for Ukraine, tough penalties against Russia, and aggression political pressure.
“This is what makes Russia the true price of this war. And yes, the aggression should be lost. And we do it,” Zelensky added.
He emphasized that justice should work so that it is clear that “all who are planning such aggressive crimes knows that responsibility will come.”
Zelensky also noted that the Hague is a great place for the aggression crime to be recorded, condemned and punished.
As reported, today the Ukraine and the European Council have signed an agreement with a special tribunal against Russia, which is a international body.
Keep in mind that the European Council Minister of Minister who launched a legal procedure to create a special tribunal on May 14. Prior to that, the process received political approval at a special LVIV summit on May 9.
