On June 25, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft law on amendments to the state budget by 2025 to increase the amount of military expenditures for the security and defense sector by 412.4 billion of the United States by the end of the year.
An additional 20 billion hryvnia for the reserve fund for unforeseen and urgent expenses and another 16.5 billion are also provided for other needs, in particular for the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Education and Science. In total, the expenses in the proposed account are summarized by 448.8 billion.
In addition, the bill must consider and approve the Verkhovna of the Rada of Ukraine, and then sign the president.
These instructions will be sent:
- Ministry of Defense – UAH 310.8 billion;
- The Ministry of the Interior – UAH 84.1 billion;
- The Ministry of Defense of the GUR – UAH 4.5 billion;
- Mine Strategra – Uah 4.5 billion;
- SBU – UAH 1.6 billion;
- Udo – uah 0.5 billion;
- State Secretariat – UAH 64.5 million.
Besides:
- UAH 20 billion is a reserve fund of unforeseen and urgent expenses.
- 16.5 billion UAH – other urgent needs (ministor, MES, MOH).
The total expenses in amendments to the state budget-2025-Uah 448.8 billion.
Additional expenses are funded by expenses:
- An increase in revenues from the state budget – UAH 147.5 billion (pit, income tax, NBU funds, dividends, excise taxes, etc.);
- Cost savings – UAH 51.3 billion;
- Internal borrowings – uah 184.9 billion;
- Reducing payments for repayment of public debt – UAH 65.1 billion.
