A serious accident in the Participation of the Ukrainians took place near the capital of Poland Warsaw on the S17 Highway. This is reported by the publication Lublin112.pl.
The accident occurred on June 24 at about 3:00 am on the 88th kilometer of the highway in the Warsaw’s direction: Two vehicles were volkswagen cargo van under the control of a 22-year-old Ukraine citizen and a Renault tractor with a semi-trailer controlled by a 61-year-old Ukrainian.
Police have found that both drivers are sober and have related documents for the right to drive transportation.
The van driver did not take into account the road conditions and did not reduce the speed, due to which he collapsed in the truck semi-trailer.
At the time of the accident, there were eight passengers in the van, all citizens of Ukraine. As a result of the fight, four people were injured and hospitalized, one of the victims was evacuated by an ambulance helicopter.
It is known that 22-year-old driver Volkswagen is confined. Law enforcement officials are investigating the conditions of the accident under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.
Due to the accident, the S17 highway traffic in the Warsaw direction was completely blocked for hours. Drivers were forced to use a detour by Voivodsk Road No. 839, which is a complex traffic in the region. Now the motion strip has been locked, the transport is running as usual.
