Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers himself not the best, but the most experienced person to conduct Ukraine through the war with Russia.
He stated this in an interview with Sky News, reports a mirror of the week.
I am the most experienced. Perhaps not the best. There are always people who are better than you, ”Zelensky said in response to the question of whether he considers himself the best person who can lead the country during the war, even despite the pressure.
To clarify whether he will now help the experience and skills gained during a full -fledged war, to continue to rule the country now, Zelenski replied that this was not his personal merit. For example, he will help him “what we learned, and what I could achieve with people.”
Twenty negotiations with leaders every day in difficult times. All this should be built. This is not a trifle, ”he said. – This is not only construction, but also the achievement of the result. And not only the result. You see, this result should be transferred to Ukraine, because it is only one thing to reach an agreement. This is a difficult leadership function.
At the same time, Zelensky assured that he was ready to transfer power to someone else, but “not ready to betray the people I love, and respect how we behave during such a difficult test.”
There is a war, and for me an excellent duty to go through this war with my country, ”said Zelensky.
If my people want to replace me, this is not that someone has such a desire, this is a fundamental question. If my people think that he needs another leader, and he has a different opinion, I have no right to argue. This is a fact. I just have no right to stay. Yes, I’m tired because the country is at war, and there are people who are just tired, and, perhaps, even more than anyone knows. We just have no right to do so, ”he added.
