Took 5000 pictures: in Greece they stopped a man walking near NATO’s base

In Greece, a 26-year-old man was confined to the suspicion of spy and a picture of the Naval base court located on the island of Crete. Ekathimerini reported this on Monday, June 23.

It was noted that the man hired a hotel room on June 18, requesting a room with a court view. He pays for the residence for a month early and almost continues to be in the room.

Digital evidence collected from his cameras and laptops found in him contain nearly 5,000 files with images of ships entering the base territory and left it.

According to media reports, the suspect was born in Azerbaijan, but there is a Poland passport.
