It is reported that the internal security officers of the SBU, in cooperation with NABU and SAP, exposed the operative of the Security Service for extorting bribes: he asked for 60 thousand US dollars for “help” in returning the equipment seized as part. of the investigation, and ensured that no one would interfere with the businessman doing business in the future.

The bribe was caught at the time of transfer of the entire specified amount.

“The SBU is making every effort to clean the Service of destructive elements and traitors – these people have no place in the ranks of the Ukrainian special service! The course of cleaning the service continues,” the message said.

Recall that the Verkhovna Rada removed Ivan Bakanov from the post of head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
