The United States is not interested in strengthening the war that Trump could not complete, despite the promises of the election, Politico said.
The Ukraine war discussion at NATO Summit in The Hague (The Netherlands) was canceled at the last minute due to a revised schedule of American President Donald Trump’s respective meetings. Politico reported it.
NATO representatives have decided to reduce the agenda: there will be no long commander, only short statements for new obligations.
The NATO schedule provides for two main events:
-
Welcome to dinner in the castle of the Dutch family,
-
A meeting of the North Atlantic Council.
Earlier, two or three major events were held except for dinner with the royal family.
The publication also noted that it is unclear whether Ukraine Volodymyr president Zelensky, who was only invited to dinner on the occasion of the summit opening on Tuesday, June 24th.
Due to the reduction in the duration and number of Hague events there is no meeting of the NATO Council in Ukraine.
This publication record is another US designation, which, despite calls of some allies held at the meeting, is not interested in strengthening the war that Trump could not complete, despite his election promises.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on Donald Trump’s policy related to Russia. According to him, even now the American administration does not provide enough pressure, all US allies will “require strong protection.”
