The Israeli Foreign Ministry is asking its citizens not to go to Ukraine for Rosh Hashanah

Because of Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine, Israeli citizens are being urged not to visit Ukraine this year, and those already here to leave immediately.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel appealed to its citizens on the eve of the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, which, in particular, is celebrated in the city of Uman, Cherkasy region.

Because of Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine, Israeli citizens are being urged not to visit Ukraine this year, and those already here to leave immediately.

Earlier it was reported that this year Ukraine will not receive Jewish pilgrims who traditionally come in September to celebrate the Jewish New Year – Rosh Hashanah.
