Denmark launched sea drones in the Baltic Sea

The military Denmark has placed floating -free vehicles in the Baltic Sea to protect underwater infrastructure and strengthen Russia’s “Shadow Fleet” observation. This was announced by the day before the Guardian newspaper.

It is indicated that drones have been developed by American Company Saildrone and have been in autonomous swimming for more than a year. They use -board artificial intelligence, collect data using sensors, cameras and radars and create a more detailed picture of sea activity than can provide satellites.

So far, four drones are placed for operating tests in Baltic, which in shape resembles a windsurfing board. They should improve Danish Navy’s capabilities for sea observation and intelligence collection. To cover the whole sea, you need 10 to 20 such drones.

Remember that Russia has begun accompanying its tanks from the “Shadow Fleet” to the Gulf of Finland with military ships. This is said by the Minister of Defense of Finland Anti Hyakkyanen.
