Ukraine law enforcement officials are confined to the “canal” organizer in our country and its two accomplices in August 2021 according to the results of a special operation in Odessa.
The court has assigned 11 years to prison with confiscation of ownership to three international crime group participants Ndrandeorganizing the cocaine smuggling channel from South America to the EU through the territory of Ukraine. The SBU reported this Friday, June 20.
Criminals opened the security service of Ukraine along with the National Police in 2021. During a special operation in Odessa, security forces stopped the canal and two accomplices – citizens of Balkan and Ukraine countries.
Drug sellers then tried to bring 80 kg of cocaine hidden in banana containers. In technological voids, 100 briquettes of forbidden substances were found. One of the defendants was confined near the port, the other – in the promotion, where they arrived to meet the load.
The court found them guilty of smuggling of drugs and their transportation to sell under part 3 of art. 305, Part 3 of Art. 307 UKU.
Earlier, as a result of a joint operation of Ukrainian law enforcement officials and Moldovan law, an international criminal organization was disclosed, selling tablets for weight loss with sibutummin – forbidden psychotropic substances.
