The Russian army is organizing a massive shelling in the Nikolaev and Odessa regions in response to the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the morning of July 26, Russian troops launched a massive attack on southern Ukraine using 18 missiles, some of which were shot down. The head of Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim announced this on the air of the telethon.
“In the morning we had six X-59 missiles from the aircraft and twelve S-300 missiles. Not all of them hit the target – some were shot down, some were missed. Of those that were caught – some of critical infrastructure and businesses. They destroyed three parts of the idle railway bridge. Very strong, but, fortunately, no one was killed,” the governor said.
He emphasized that, in addition to the Nikolaev region, the Odessa region also fell under attack.
“The battle is intensifying, a lot of aviation is working on both sides. Since the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying command posts and warehouses (of the Russians), they are also trying to show something,” Kim said.
The head of OVA also said that saboteurs and fire spotters in Nikolaev will be trained after the active harvest phase, so as not to disturb the farmers.
Let’s remind, on Tuesday morning in the regions of Nikolaev and Odessa explosions rumbled.
As a result of shelling in Nikolaev, a critical infrastructure facility, a motor transport business was hit, and the city’s boiler house building was damaged. In addition, an attempt was made to reach the port infrastructure of the city.
Also, the invaders fired the Nikolaevsky district from the MLRS.
In the Odessa region, Russians went into the private sector.
