Kyiv wants Russia’s missile terror to rise against civilians against Ukraine civilians for discussion.
Ukraine started an urgent UN Security Council meeting related to the country’s Russian shelling last night. On Tuesday, June 17, Ukraine’s permanent representative at UN Andrei Melnik reported, Ukrinform reports.
“I just signed a letter to the UN Security Council president with the request to gather a security council meeting related to Russia’s missile terror increase against Ukraine civilians,” said the permanent representative.
He noted that tonight only the massive attack of the Russian Federation claimed the lives of many people of Kiev, more than one hundred people were injured, residential buildings were completely destroyed again.
“We interact not only with military crimes against the civilian population, that the Moscow regime is focused on day -to -night and every night. These are crimes against humanity that require not only condemnation, but also a specific reaction and practical actions from the international community, especially the UN Security Council,” Melnik said.
The diplomat spoke about a planned meeting with the president of the People’s Commissars Council at the UN Ambassador at UN Caroline Rodriguez-Birkett to discuss further steps in accordance with the UN Charter.
“I hope the members of the Security Council will provide a tough response to Russia’s criminal actions. Time to end the absence of Kremlin,” Melnik said.
Remember that on Tuesday night, Russian invaders launched 472 drones and missiles of various types throughout Ukraine. The main direction of the enemy strike was Kyiv. There are recorded missiles and “shared” in 10 locations, a collapse in fragments in 34 places. The deaths of 16 people were confirmed, at least 134 people were injured.
