The Sicheslav brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “landed” two Russian attack aircraft and one combat helicopter in one day.
President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian paratroopers for the destruction of three air targets of the Russian Armed Forces. He said this in a video message on Monday evening, July 25.
“I want to thank today our air assault troops, the Sicheslav brigade, which ‘landed’ two Russian military aircraft and a helicopter in just one day,” the head of state said.
Zelensky said that the Ukrainians should do everything to extend this “landing” experience to all Russian aircraft and missile products in our skies.
Recall that the day before and the day before, the 25th separate airborne Sicheslav brigade shot down two enemy Su-25 attack aircraft.
In addition, fighters this time from Igla MANPADS “landed” a Russian Ka-52 (Alligator) combat helicopter worth more than 16 million US dollars.
