The repair and construction of new buildings, as well as the demining of the Luhansk region, will take at least a decade, believes Sergei Gaidai.
The restoration of the Lugansk region will take at least 10 years. This applies to the demining of the entire region. This was said by the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai, reports Ukraine NOW on Monday, July 25.
He also noted that currently, critical infrastructure has been completely destroyed in the communities of the region, where heavy fighting continues. In this regard, 90% of the residential buildings were shelled and 70% of them had to be demolished, because they could not be restored.
The head of the regional military administration held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized the defense of the Luhansk region, and also successfully destroyed warehouses, barracks, command posts of the Russian invaders.
According to Gaidai, the enemy’s logistics deteriorated in bringing ammunition to the front. He also noted that mercenaries from private military companies were thrown into the attack.
It should be remembered that the “restoration” of the so-called “DPR” and “LPR” will take many years, but Russia is said to be ready for it. This statement was made by the head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
It was previously reported that the Russian Federation plans to open a new cemetery in Mariupol on the site of the airport.
