Kyiv has called on the European Union to include sanctions against Russia’s banking and energy sectors in a new package. About this Ermak on Monday, June 9, reported on Telegram.
“For Ukraine, it is important that the EU’s 18th package of penalties included restrictions against the banking and energy sectors of the Russian Federation, the tanker’s fleet and a second penalty,” Yermak said.
He also emphasized the critical need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense against the background of Russia’s improved attack.
Also, during the conversation with European colleagues, it was about preparation for major international events: the G7 Summit in Canada, the NATO Summit in The Hague and the EU Summit.
