The Ukraine Embassy in Belgium has been ordered to maintain the case of death of a wife and daughter of a Ukrainian military in the city of Belgian of Hassod. It was reported by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday, June 7.
“Foreign minister Andrei Sybiga has ordered the Ukraine embassy in Belgium to maintain the death case of two Ukraine citizens – mother and daughter, 1979 and 2019 born in the city of Hassad,” the report said.
The ministry confirmed that the bodies of the two victims were discovered during the home fire.
Consular employees are already in contact with the relatives of the dead and representatives of the local police and the prosecutor’s office. The conditions of death and the causes of the incident were established.
“The City Prosecutor’s Office opened criminal proceedings, the investigation actions are ongoing. Ukrainian diplomats will continue to provide necessary consular assistance and inform the public about the development of the investigation,” the foreign ministry added.
Earlier on Saturday, the media reported that in the city of Haasrod they killed the wife and daughter of a Ukrainian soldier, and the house was on fire. Both victims have wounds. The 16-year-old son remained alive, which was at school at the time of the fire.
