Ukrainian boxer Vasil Lomachenko announced his career end.
Lomachenko noted that in the “life of any boxer” there is a moment when it is necessary to “hang gloves on a nail.” He emphasized that in his history “this day has come.” He thanked God, the coach, the family, his team and the United States for the “opportunity to realize himself.” The athlete announced this in the address that he posted on Facebook on June 5.

It is known that in a professional box Vasily Lomachenko spent 12 years. He completed his career as an IBF lightweight lightweight. There are 18 victories in its account, 12 of them by knockout. He also suffered three defeats in the ring.
We recall that Vasil Lomachenko held his last battle in May 2024 in Australia. During the battle, he defeated George Cambosos and won the light world champion according to IBF.
