The President of Ukraine signed a law that reduces the cost of a motorcycle by 50% for veterans and persons with disabilities as a result of the war (No. 4369-IX).

The discount will work from January 1, 2025 – during martial law and a year after its completion.

For people with disabilities, as a result of the war, the discount will be constant if:

    • Auto has an engine volume up to 2500 cm today or an electric motor up to 100 kW
    • owns only a car or another person who also has the right to discount
    • The car is not used for income (passenger or freight transport)

The staff will compensate for the expenses for the budget insurance – the order will determine the office.

In the first quarter of 2025, the average price of a compulsory car insurance policy (“car”) increased more than doubled – to 2975. The General Director of Mtibu Oleksandr Bernaziuk spoke about this in the podcast of the Chronicles of Economics, writes EP.

Until January 1, 2025, when a new law on auto -insurance entered into force, the average cost of an “automatic volume” was 1361 years.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2025, the average cost of car policy has more than doubled, ”said Bernatsyuk. The changes are associated with the renewal of legislation, which probably takes into account military risks and inflation.
