Verkhovna Rada in the second reading supported Bill No. 11495 in return for unused leave for military personnel. This was informed by the People’s Alexei Goncharenko deputy on Wednesday, June 4.
The document is finally supported by 311 selected people.
From now on, the military who has stopped service during Martial Law will receive financial compensation for all unused annual, additional and social vacations.
In accordance with the explanatory record of the draft law, military personnel who do not use annual basic days, further leave, as well as leave provided for parents of children with disabilities or in accordance with Article 16-2 of Ukraine law “on vacations”, during service at a special time, financially compensated.
Such compensation should be given during the year of dismissal from the service.
In the event of the death or death of a soldier, the financial payment for all unused holidays is received by the people indicated at his personal disposal in case of captivity.
Without such an order, the payment is paid in accordance with paragraph 6 of Article 9 of the Law “on the social and legal protection of military personnel and their families” in the way the cabinet refers to.
If there are no such people, the funds are included in the inheritance.
It is assumed that law enforcement will ensure the guarantee of military personnel right to pay financial compensation for all unused days of the annual basic and additional leave, as well as other types of vacations, including further social abandonment, which is not given to military personnel at a special time since the announcement of mobilization, has been subjected to financial payment Military personnel decline from service.
“This is a step toward justice: if a person has no chance to use his right to rest due to war – the state must pay for it,” Goncharenko added.
Earlier, the Ministers cabinet made amendments to two decisions, providing additional payments for military personnel to participate in hostilities in the Kursk region.
