Negotiations of Ukraine and the Russian Federation in Istanbul will continue.
On Monday, May 2, Ukrainian and Russian delegations will hold the second round of negotiations. Representatives of both countries are already in Turkey. The Russian delegation flew to Istanbul in the evening of June 1. And the delegation of Ukraine arrived this morning. Negotiations will begin at 13.00 in the Palace of Chiragan. About this writes to Anadol.
Reuters previously reported that Kyiv intends to offer Moscow a clear roadmap for today’s negotiations to achieve a stable peaceful settlement.
Among the key offers of Ukraine is the ceasefire for at least 30 days, the exchange of captives under the “All” formula, the return of Ukrainian children and the direct meeting of Vladimir Zelensky with Vladimir Putin.
And Russia in Istanbul today will show a memorandum in which the Kremlin’s vision of a ceasefire is outlined. Earlier, the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that this document should be a step towards the future world.
Times said that today’s negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Turkey will be a breakthrough after the statement of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky about the absence of seriousness from Moscow.
We recall that on June 1, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved the composition of the delegation of Ukraine in negotiations with the Russian Federation in Istanbul. The delegation currently includes 14 people, while during the first round of negotiations in Istanbul on May 16, the Ukrainian delegation consisted of 12 people.
