The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Rosen Zhelyazkov. The head of the state on Social Network X reported this Friday, May 30th.
“I invited to participate in the Ukraine -Seaste Europe Summit. This is an important event in which we talk about the security of our entire region, including the security of the Black Sea, the restoration of Ukraine after the end of the war and our cooperation in many different fields,” the Ukraine leader wrote in the message.
Zelensky added that Bulgaria’s Prime Minister confirmed her participation.
“There will be a high level of countries at the summit. Thanks,” the President of Ukraine completed.
Keep in mind that the Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Atanas Zafirov, said Bulgaria will not sell the corps of two VVER-1000 reactors in Ukraine, where negotiations have previously been conducted.
However, the Ukraine Ministry of Energy said they did not hear the official position of the Bulgaria government regarding the refusal to sell Russian reactors in Ukraine, so “any comments are premature.”
