“We are watching a significant increase in hospitalization in China, Hong Kong and other regions where this option is actively spreading,” Dr. Emi Edwards, professor of Pediatrics of the University of Keis Western Reserve in an interview with CBS News.
According to him, NB.1.8.1 causes symptoms similar to previous strains – cough, sore throat, fever and fatigue – but perhaps with higher delivery capabilities.
