The White House does not believe that the Pentagon’s investigation about the “leak of the secret document” in relation to the Panama channel.
We are talking about the incident with a leakage of data on the rules of US control over the Panama channel. In April, the Pentagon, Pete Hegset, released three senior advisers and accused them of drainage of information.
Hegset lawyer Tim Parlotor said that there is evidence of their participation in the information leak – they were listened. Such an explanation was concerned about Trump’s advice – the hearing was probably illegal and could be an even greater scandal than the leak itself.
Then the leader of the Pentagon leader denied that he made such statements and said that he received this information from other sources from the Ministry of Defense. After that, Trump’s advisers began to doubt the accuracy of the investigation.
One of them suggested that the investigation can be used simply as an excuse to release assistants participating in conflicts with the first head of Hegsset Joe Casper, who was also released in April.
On April 10, the head of the Pentagon Pit Hegset in Trump’s report after a visit to Panama said:
We return the control of the Panama channel. China is rooted there, and this happened during Obama and others, which allowed them to gradually penetrate. Together with Panama, we made a very successful visit. The President Mr. Mulino handed over warm words to the United States as a great ally. And it seems that they want communist China to leave. Now our military is working with Panama forces, and we have a chance to shift the Chinese.
After Hegset, Trump spoke about the redistribution of American troops:
We transferred many divisions to gentlemen, filling out those areas that were previously controlled, but were lost. Now they are again under our control. And for me this is a very positive step in the direction of stability and control.
