Every third liberated Ukrainian soldier spent more than 3 years in captivity, the record of the coordination office.
In the framework of exchange of prisoners in the “1000 per 1000” format, Ukraine managed to restore military personnel from 46 units from Russia, where Russians never returned to anyone. This was announced by Coordinating Headquarters for the treatment of War in prisoners on Telegram.
Every third liberated Ukrainian soldier has been in captivity for more than 3 years – 311 defenders have been held in captivity since 2022. In addition, 122 warriors have been in Russian dungeons since 2023, and another 150 defenders from 2024.
Generally, among military personnel freed from large exchanges:

497 representatives of the forces of land,

97 Naval forces of forces,

95 territorial defense fighters,

72 Paratroopers,

21 – forces of unattended systems,

two representatives of the wind forces,

Two – Support Supports.

56 Boundaries on the border,

a representative of the state’s special transport service;

175 Defenders of Mariupol Garrison (81 of them were obtained from AzovStal).
All the liberated military personnel are soldiers and sergeants who maintain defense in the hottest sections of the front.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky announced the third stage in the exchange of war inmates in the format “1000 per 1000”.
As you know, the first exchange occurred on May 23. Moscow and Kyiv were moved to 390 people – 270 military personnel and 120 civilians. Today the second day of exchange has passed. At this time 307 defenders returned to Ukraine.
