The Supreme Anti -Corruption Court found the Deputy Chairman of Ukraine’s Federation of Trade Unions in an attempt to bribe judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal. This was reported by Vax’s press service on Friday, May 23.
The investigation founded that the defendant, along with the accomplice, tried to move 150 thousand dollars for deciding on the release of officials from caution.
The court identified the deputy chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions and one of his accomplices who had guilty of a criminal offense under part 3 of Art. 369 UKU. Both defendants were punished for four years in prison with a confiscation of half of their ownership.
At the time of entry into the strength of the punishment, the defendants were selected by the evil proposal: They were obliged not to leave the limits of the KYIV region without the consent of the court, as well as submit documents for travel abroad.
The court found the third party in the case as innocent in relation to the innocence.
In addition, the Vax has decided on a special confiscation of a bribe: 150 thousand dollars recovered in state income.
The verdict may appeal to the appeal within 30 days from the announcement date.
